Our 3-Step Testing Methodology
We do not rely on Amazon product descriptions. We buy every bottle and test it in our lab.
1. The H2 Blue Reagent Test (PPM Verification)
We use the H2 Blue Kit® (ethanol-based methylene blue reagent) to measure the concentration of dissolved hydrogen gas. Drops turn clear in the presence of H2. We count the drops to calculate the exact Parts Per Million (PPM).
- Pass: > 1.0 PPM (10+ drops)
- Fail: < 0.5 PPM
2. The Chlorine Byproduct Test
We test non-PEM bottles using a DPD chlorine reagent. If the water turns pink, chlorine gas is present. This is a critical safety failure.
